The cyber landscape is a real concern and we learned about law firms being targeted. It is clear that lawyers are regarded as an opportunity.<\/p>\n
Perhaps this is because they are so busy they can overlook some of those dodgy emails, or because they may be perceived as not being IT literate, or maybe it\u2019s just because hackers think lawyers are rich pickings? The lesson is that every firm needs to be increasing their cyber security footprint. What was adequate or reasonable even a year ago is being superseded by new strategies and technologies to protect firms for the latest threats. It is why we are just launching an updated KARE for Security \u20183\u2019 package designed for businesses that are primarily cloud based to help them protect their data assets.<\/p>\n
