Nevertheless, it’s important to keep us current with our industry and Day Two of Microsoft Inspire was no different,\u00a0 We’ve already posted about day one.<\/a>\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n Day two highlighted the application of the latest Microsoft technology.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n This included presentations about cloud solutions integrated for vertical markers, e.g. Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare \u2013 bringing together Microsoft 365, Azure, security and third party solutions in a targeted marketplace, Another example is Education, including solutions that brought together devices, remote deployment and learning solutions. \u00a0This was particularly useful in the Covid context of needing to support students working from home.<\/span><\/p>\n I was interested to hear how security was provided despite the need to throw together solutions quickly, which is normally a weakness.\u00a0 In this case, using solutions within the Microsoft cloud are ready to scale out to new implementations rapidly.<\/span><\/p>\n The is a lot of emphasis on the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps etc) to create automations without needing coders, and to quickly innovate business process solutions to achieve rapid ROI.\u00a0 It was called a \u201clow-code, no-cloud movement\u201d.\u00a0 For example the ability to create tools like Covid tracers.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”http:\/\/kinetics.co.nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/MSInspire21-4.png” title_text=”MSInspire21-4″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ align=”center” sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||2px|||”]<\/p>\n As you’d expect there was a lot of discussion around Windows 11<\/a>, which we have already outlined, and Windows 365 (the cloud version we mentioned yesterday<\/a>).
