If you have Office 2016, (or even an old version like 2010) then this is coming your way soon \u2013 in fact the beta (called \u2018preview\u2019) is available now and while the release date is unclear, we expect it to be this year. It\u2019s available in both Mac and PC versions with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Project, Publisher and Visio.<\/p>\n

Sadly, OneNote is no longer going to be part of Office \u2013 the desktop version is being axed in favour of the \u2018app\u2019 version \u2013 thankfully this has been improved substantially.<\/p>\n

But you do get text-to-speech, better inking features, and better tools for disability users. Outlook gets the \u2018@mention\u2019 ability to include recipients from the message body text, and \u2018focussed inbox\u2019 to help you conquer email influxes.<\/p>\n So there are lots of incremental changes, but nothing earthshattering.
