Time is running out faster than we’d like to admit. With October 14, 2025<\/strong> rapidly approaching, we’re now in the final countdown for Windows 10 support. If you’re still running Windows 10, this isn’t just another tech update to ignore \u2013 it’s a critical deadline that will affect your security, productivity, and peace of mind.<\/p>\n

This shouldn’t be a surprise.\u00a0 We’ve warned about it in this blog many times,<\/a> and in our monthly KARE reports.<\/p>\n

What Exactly Happens on October 14?<\/h2>\n

After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 will still work, but it will become more vulnerable to security risks and viruses. Microsoft will stop releasing patches entirely \u2013 no security fixes, no bug repairs, nothing.<\/p>\n
