That means that if you are working on the road, your laptop battery will last longer!<br \/>The new version is reported to use 50% less memory, and less CPU power.<\/p>\n<p>The preview version is due in March 2023 and the production version will be a little later.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft have changed some of the underlying tools they use, moving from something called \u2018Electron\u2019 to \u2018Webview2\u2019 which seems to be a technology that came forward in Windows 11.<\/p>\n<p>If, for some reason, you want to go back to the old version, you will be able to.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve become very used to the rapid development in Teams \u2013 custom backgrounds, hands-up and reactions, breakout rooms, polls, live meeting transcriptions and so on.
